Bradwell beach is situated on the Dengie peninsula. Bradwell-on-Sea is the nearest village and civil parish it is located about 9 km (5.6 mi) north-northeast of Southminster and is 30 km (19 mi) east from the county town of Chelmsford. Post discussions about Bradwell here

As you can see Bradwell is quiet especially during the week and is great for walking on about a mile in total

I'm a little puzzled as to how to get to this beach. I went last year and was alone - the wind off the sea was rather strong.
How far from the end of the concrete path is it safe to strip off?
Thanks.

At the end of the path walk along the beach until you are in line with a WW2 pill box. The naturist beach starts here. Have you been recently, it may be busier now its warmer. Thinking of going Sunday 7th if its sunny.

Went late last year mid week and there was one other Naturist. Had a chat and relaxed in the sun.
Going to give it a try tomorrow as the weather is good.

Well I made it on Thursday, nice weather too.
Undressed just past St Peter Chapel on the sea wall and walked naked all the way to the power station on the sea wall and beach where the tide wasn't too high. No one else around at all.
Walked all the way back naked too, felt really good. Saw one person just as I was approaching the Chapel so put shorts back on then, and then headed home.
No Naturists on the beach or anywhere that I could see.

I went to bradwell beach this Sunday 11th June with a lady friend of mine and had a great time there, it was very quiet and the directions were spot on, will be visiting there again this Wednesday 14th and hopefully there may be a few more people to talk to but it still a great place alone or not
